Pointsettia Card

This is a slight variation on the pointsettia lampshade.  It's nice to have the flexability to use a design in different ways.  Learn to colour with watercolour pencils to create a unique handmade card you can send to a special friend of family member.  We will also learn to make our own envelopes for this 4.5x6.5 card.

Candle Stick Pin Cushion

This is a fun project with a lot of techniques to learn.  We will paint, stamp tissue, use gel medium, antique, add charms and embellishments.  You end up with something very functional.  The fabric top is wool with matching pins.

You can also hang jewelry from the coloured pins.

Water Colour Poinsettia Shade

Try something a little different with this water colour lamp shade. Learn how to use water colour pencils, it's pretty easy you just need patients.

'Snowbuddies' Mirror

This is a fun painting project for the Holiday Season. We'll paint with acrylics on a square pine mirror.

You can hang it or use it under a candle holder.

Project Classes

New for me this fall are 'Project Classes'. I have been teaching these at our local community centre now I will be holding these at my home studio.

Three Tuesdays of each month I will host these classes from 7:00pm to 9:00 pm, the projects will be posted well in advance so you can plan to come.

On three Thursdays of each month I will host a 'Finishing Class' which will give you an opportunity to finish projects you are working on. Cost for each 2 hour Thursday is $5.00.

There is room for 5 students in each class and cost will vary for each project.

I'm happy to tell you that these classes are also available to you as home parties. If you would like to plan a 'girls night' or have a group that enjoys getting together on a regular basis this might be for you.

September/October Project Class

'Pumpkin Crossing' wall hanging 'Snowmen Crossing' wall hanging

This fun project is painted with acrylic paint on a board measuring 12x12. Not a difficult assignment even if you're not familiar with painting. This also has a flip side which we will do in October...'Snowmen Crossing'.

Dates available for this class are Tuesday September 9th, 16th and 30th. Each class will hold 5 participants and will run 7:00pm to 9:00pm. If one week doesn't work for you possibly the next will.
